What are the problems with log homes?

We use two types of chinking material, Log Jam or Concrete mortar with fiberglass additive for strength. The term dried in simply means the side walls, roof system, and all doors and windows have been installed and dry from the elements.
This is a term we use to describe once we get the side walls and roof system completed. We prefer to erect the logs to insure for proper settlement. A complete “dry-in” can be arranged at a reasonable cost. For an additional cost, the hand-hewn character can be added to your house.
